Abstract Street Photography
I am super passionate about Abstract Street Photography. While I am also capable to photograph candid streets, I feel that abstract street photography is one level up in terms of challenge. This is because it not only requires keen observation skills, it also requires the ability to imagine and compose the "direct" scenes in such a way that you bring the viewers to another dimension that they cannot see with their naked eyes. It requires a lot of creative skills especially because the streets are very ordinary and they are almost the same day in and day out. It gives you the opportunity to think out of the box. It is like a puzzle or riddle.
Am not a person who can express well through words. I am happy to have discovered abstract street photography, which has given me the chance to express my soul - the passion, loneliness, fear, tension and dilemma in the busy urban life.
This is why I love Abstract Street Photography so much.
All my photos are captured unposed, within single exposure and photo edits are mostly minimal/none.
Here are some of my favourite shots on this page. I produce good new work almost everyday and regularly posts them on my instagram @betty_goh_photography. Please check them out over there.
